Wells Fargo Supports Flagstaff Area Entrepreneurs
In 2018, Wells Fargo donated more than $5.4 million to 415 local nonprofits, schools and community organizations to help the communities and people of Arizona. Wells Fargo provided a $25,000 grant to the Coconino County Community College Foundation to help the college’s Small Business Development Center increase capital and training for area entrepreneurs.
In 2018, Goldman Sachs financed a first of its kind renewable natural gas bond to build a renewable natural gas project in Arizona. The $61 million green issuance was the first renewable gas financing in the capital markets to finance a refinery capable of turning dairy waste, one of the largest sources of methane emissions, into vehicle fuel.

Bank of America Connects Women Entrepreneurs in the U.S. to Affordable Loans
Since 2014 Bank of America has deployed more than $46 million in capital to help women entrepreneurs grow their businesses, including women through Accion Arizona. In 2019, Bank of America increased this commitment to $100 million to aid women entrepreneurs. The capital it deploys will help more than 2,500 women small business owners.
The Citi Salutes program develops partnerships with community organizations to support military families throughout the country and gives veteran employees formalized peer-to-peer support. In 2017, the Citi Salutes Network in Tucson participated in an annual 5k run that raised money for a YMCA program that provided meals, haircuts, hygiene products, and services for homeless veterans

In 2019, Bank of America provided a $250,000 grant to the Arbor Day Foundation to expand the tree canopy in four U.S. cities and help communities tackle environmental challenges. In Tucson, the tree plantings and giveaways will help low- and moderate-income residents cool their homes and reduce energy costs.
