Goldman Sachs Finances Construction of Chalmette Hospital

Goldman Sachs committed up to $11.7 million equity investment to help finance the construction of St. Bernard Parish Hospital. After a hurricane destroyed the Chalmette Medical Center, this community's healthcare facilities consisted of a mobile clinic in a vacant parking lot until St. Bernard, which provides both inpatient and outpatient care to the community, was built.
