Wells Fargo Supports South Dakota Small Businesses
In 2016, Wells Fargo's Diverse Community Capital provided grant funding to Eagle Butte’s Four Bands Community Fund for the purpose of building CDFI capacity to increase and strengthen lending to small businesses. The funding also supported activities through Opportunity Finance Network, including mentorship programs, an online learning community, and other collaborative efforts.
South Dakota’s Citi Salutes Network supported The Berakhah House, an emergency shelter for homeless veterans in Sioux Falls. Over 40 Citi employees volunteered their time to perform yard work, plant flowers and visit with the Veterans.
In 2018, Morgan Stanley’s employees and its foundation provided nearly $100,000 to local South Dakota nonprofits and charities. Employees from South Dakota also volunteered more than 140 hours. The top three recipients were Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills, American Cancer Society, and Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation.
